Hosting

The server facility provides two distinct paths to the Internet via two DS3's. One DS3 heads North to Tampa and the other goes South to Miama via Level 3. The facility has a primary generator that is capable of running the entire building for a week before requiring a refuel. A secondary generator is in place just in case, which can power the facility's infrastructure. A third connection rated at 100Mbps is being added soon, which will make for a total of three paths/routes to the internet. Our servers are housed in this facility which is under lock and key at all times.  All servers are on enterprise grade hardware with multiple quad core Intel Xeon processors, redundant RAM pairs, and redundant power supplies.

We purposely under subscribe our systems so that there are always plenty of resources available. All of our systems use hardware RAID controllers and we configure them all as RAID10 arrays. This provides the highest speeds possible while at the same time keeping the system reliable and tolerant of disk failures. All systems are protected from external networks by our tightly restricted firewall. All traffic in AND out is filtered and inspected. All customer data and systems are backed up to local servers in the data center and then a nightly backup is transferred to another secured server at another location during off-peak hours.
